Let’s start with understanding why you need conditioner. When you use shampoo, it does a few things.
-Firstly, the Surfactants (surface active agents) bind to the dirt and allow them to be washed away when you rinse.
-Secondly the surfactants emulsify 'bond the oil clinging to your hair and water together’. This means that the oils can now be washed away.
-The other ingredients in the shampoo are effectively there to mitigate the effects of the shampoo as an oil and moisture remover. Shampoo inevitably removes too much moisture and oil through the process of cleaning leaving potentially dry and damaged hair. this means that a series of ingredients are added as either humectant (there to help the hair retain moisture or to replace the oils stripped away in the cleaning process.
The problem with using just shampoo is the paradox of cleaning well, whilst replacing the oils and moisture lost. Shampoo is attempting to do both at once and even the best designed and best functioning shampoo (Natural Little Bee Honey & Batana shampoo) cannot achieve this perfectly for all hair types all the time.

This is where our conditioner comes in. Conditioner is there to provide moisture and oils to restore a healthy balance to your hair without the interference of cleaning agents and without the dirt and excess oils that make your hair look and feel bad.
A bad conditioner will restore the greasy feel to hair and will keep it brittle and damaged.

A cheaply designed conditioner will have alot of water in it creating a moisture imbalance and preventing the humectant working properly sometimes even removing the moisture from the hair and damaging it further. The main humectant in our conditioner is honey. Honey is able to hydrate the hair really strengthen it without the risk of removing moisture.
